Client Experience Overview Natural and Alternative Healthcare Clients
Citizens for Health This is a member-driven pro-natural health organization. As Pro-Bono PR Director, I led the PR on the campaign to gain Congressional approval for the highly-contested (and FDA-opposed) Federal Health Freedom Act. After putting 2 million letters into Congress (not e-mails or mass-mails – 2 million individual letters) in two weeks, Senator Orin Hatch credited our “Citizens Army” with delivering the critical element of success for passage of the bill that opened natural health to commercial expansion with only minimal FDA regulation. I took this on (at significant personal expense) because I believe so strongly in both freedom and in natural health.
HealthWorld Online : Developed and launched a non-advertising PR/Marcom launch plan for this innovative website – the leader in natural and alternative healthcare information and content. The campaign generated coverage in the New York Times (x3), Newsweek, LA Times (x3), Washington Post and more than 250 other media. It exceeded performance goals over six months by 20%, and became the basis for a case study at Michigan State University’s Graduate School of Business.
Cenegenics Life Extension Institute: I developed their start-up strategic plan, and helped implement their successful grand opening (which included an appearance by Nevada’s Governor).
El Dorado RLI: This is another life-extension medical company; I developed their start-up strategic marketing plan and helped implement the successful six-month launch for the human growth hormone therapy.
Body2LA – “Designer” body-sculpting and personal-trainer fitness guru in the LA area, working with both “stars” and civilians – developed a strategic marcom plan to position B2LA against Tae Bo; didn’t move forward after funding fell through
Sports Medicine Chiropractic – Strategic planning for this new niche- market sports clinic
Trinity Springs – Natural health pure water source – strategic plan and tactical implementation for market penetration of this specialty pure water provider
